Lana LaVerne Luoma was a remarkable woman whose warmth, intelligence, and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Born in Red Lodge, Montana, Lana grew up on her family’s ranch, where she developed the strength, care, and hardworking spirit that would stay with her throughout her life.

After graduating from Joliet High School, Lana went on to study aerospace at M.I.T., earning her Bachelor’s degree before beginning a successful career in California with Hughes and later Boeing. Her accomplishments reflected not only her intelligence, but also her dedication, curiosity, and quiet determination.

In 2012, Lana met Wendell Escott, the love of her life, and in 2019 they were married. Together, they shared a life built on love, companionship, and a deep appreciation for the people and animals around them. Lana’s gentle spirit, her laughter, and her caring heart became a meaningful part of Wendell’s life and the Aqua Land family.

Today, Lana’s memory continues to guide us. Her love, kindness, and spirit remain part of everything we do as we work to make Aqua Land a welcoming, trusted, and caring place for our customers and community. We honor Lana by carrying forward the warmth and dedication she brought into the world.
